Applications of Metal Sintered filter screen on Polypropylene production

By applying multi-layer sintered metal mesh and sintered metal felt on polypropylene production, to increase the capacity of the polypropylene.
 

Polypropylene extrusion system before used composite mesh, the filtering effect is not ideal in the extruder, and the production efficiency is low. Using the characteristics of composite mesh and deficiencies are as follows:

1. Service life 1-2 days

2. Filter element changed frequently, the average replacement of 50-80 pieces each month

3. The equipment working pressure difference is bigger, often appear differential pressure fluctuation is not stable, impurity content in the product standard

4. Because filter element change frequently, parking rate of the equipment are high, the production efficiency is low.

 

The production capacity of polypropylene was improved by applying multilayer metal sintering screen and sintered metal felt on polypropylene production. The improve of multilayer metal sintering screen on extrusion system extended the replacement time of filter screen from 1~2days to 7 days; and the filtration efficiency of extrusion unit increased 1.6 times by

reforming the filter components. 

 

In the dust-collecting filter of extruder, the filter element used polypropylene filter bag, use Polypropylene filter bag of questions as follows:

1. Service life short, usually half a year, filtration precision is 10 micron, Specifications: Φ170 ×1 820 mm, Φ170 ×910 mm

2. The polypropylene filter bag prone to problems such as deformation, rupture, cause material leaked, parking equipment

 

The application of sintered metal felt on polypropylene raw materials recovery and dust removal made the maintenance time of polypropylene dust filter cylinder extending from half a year to 2 years, equipment operation stable and dust filtering effect, fewer parking equipment more than 4 times, high removal efficiency, material recycling efficiency increased.
